I’m actually happy that this misunderstanding happened. Sanada caused Itonaga so much pain and even if it was unintentional, it was still a very stupid and cruel thing to do to someone you “love”. The fact that he incited the bullying and let it happen pisses me off more than anything. It traumatized itonaga and caused him a lot of pain. Though I do want them to end up together I want Sanada to get a taste of his own medicine first.
Pouring water on a classmate in front of everyone else setting off a chain of bullying is not unintentional. Going out with girls you don't give a shit about and hurting them is not unintentional. Not apologizing but acting like "nothing happened" is not unintentional. He should have apologized from the get-go and told him he was afraid of his gay feelings but he's over that and wants to start over. Sanada is kinda shitty.
