So, I've just finished re-reading Sensei, Mou Dame Desu, and I absolutely fell in love with the love interest.
I wanted to ask you guys for BL recs with a similar looking love interest (Short hair, quite muscular complection) or a similair personality (Quite clueless, cold, but also when this facade melts starts being shy or embarrassed).
Also, I'm mainly reading BL manga, and that's what I'm trying to find.
It honestly was so cute until the fourth chapter. If it stopped there I honestly wouldn't have anything to say other than "wow, that was nice!"
The thing that really turned me off was the fact that I honestly didn't see any interesting from the ML to the MC. That left me with quite a lot of questions about their relationship: Did the ML love the MC, or did he saw him as a push over friend with benefits? After the fight we dont see any really major sadness about the fact that they won't see each other, especially from the ML, did he really didn’t care about our MC? If the MC didn’t come with the baby, would the ML send him off? Did the ML find the "family" more in the baby, rather than MC? Would there be a difference, if the ML found the baby at his doorstep without the MC?
I also just felt more of an interest in the sexual aspect more from the MC (if not the dick comment (which, again, the ML didn’t answer the MC when he asked if that's the only thing he loves about him). I just felt like a lot of the sex was mostly one-sided.
I think it could've been done better if the author added a little more inner monolog (which I honestly was expecting) but oh well.
i think ml had loved mc from the beginning because he was different than the rest, he just had super strong connections to his gang which he considered to be his family because he grew up with the responsibility of caring for those younger than him, it's kind of his purpose in life. so when mc asked him to leave the gang, it was the same thing as asking him to leave his family and to forget his purpose, and that ended up pushing them apart. when his closest friend, the one he grew up with, told him he was starting his own family and leaving the gang, my only guess is that meant that the gang was disbanding which meant that ml lost his purpose. it was only until mc brought the baby with him was when ml finally found his purpose again and he realized that mc was also his family, therefore he wanted to love for the both of them from now on. i think a lot of it is hidden behind subtext and some was probably lost within translation, but i think in all of its entirety, it's just a cute little story about a family of 3!
Oh, I quite like your interpretation! I actually think it's pretty accurate, so thanks for explaining. I do agree that it could have been lost in translation, but still, I do wish there was some more insight from the ML.
