Why’re u guys mad? The seme was loyal after he discovered it was love (although it annoyed me how he tried to find another girl, he failed and then realized). Okay so the side story was about the first King and the Goddess Gold. Gold was given the ability to grant 3 wishes by fate when she was born to whoever knows her true name. His second wish he wished for one of his sons to be perfect. But the cost for it was the lives of everyone he loves. He chose to do it because his sons where like adhd and violent. Plus he wanted to kill them already and they were planning to kill his wife. The only other wish he made was to marry her. Technically he only made the second wish because her son said he'd kill her so it was like in a way out of love? Some sick twisted kinda love but yah. And then he felt so guilty he refused to explain anything to her ever making her believe for the past 1000 years he never loved her and this was all a trick to use her. the alt personality is I'm thinking fate? Like since she's a human and was given the powers by fate. Plus the way the personality talks it feels like fate is talking through her. But yah she went crazy because she was an orphan isolated from the rest of the village and treated super weird. Essentially her life dream was to be a mother. Then her husband turned about and made HER kill her son and have to get rid of her newborn. Perfect way to drive someone insane

he was just a good knight. I'm pretty Charteris's knight is his reincarnation tho which is awesome. He was a royal knight who recognized what the king was doing was genocide. and then for a moment Gold (her goddess persona, I also called her fate) took over his body to use him to get the baby safely out of their country.
