This is the definition of basic but done well. Nothing if really new but it does a good job so I give it a 10/10 for first reads and 8.5/10 for rereads.
I really recommend reading the novel. they skip over a good amount of scenes that add development and skip the minor details that add more depth to the characters.
-For example, did you know that ML, has a condition where when he takes a mana potion, it tastes bad and gives him an uncomfortable feeling and that is why he is recuperating along with MC in the hospital even though he could just drink a mana potion. it isn't like MC were it doesn't work at all, ML just prefers naturally getting mana back like MC.
-Another minor detail, when MC was asking for snacks from ML after MC fainted, he whispered asking for snacks so that It was supposed to be barely audio-able to ML, of course ML still heard it.
-You remember the window scene where MC and ML look at clouds, that scene has a bit more dialogue than what is shown in the manga. ML looks at the clouds and tries to apoligize to MC for trying to "force him out of hiding when he didn't want to". Then MC completely wrecked him and was like nah. ur apology sucks, do it again later. cause yeh, it kinda did suck.
-there is also another scene in which when ML is telling MC he is popular with younger guys cause everyone wants to hang out with him they start talking about interest in gender. We learn Seme/ML is a pure boi who has never fallen in love and that uke/MC is Bi.

Personally I think it should have ended on the tragedy. It had the greatest impact and left you super sad at its climax. Then in one chapter, the last last chapter, they did a switch-a-rooni to a happy end, it felt kinda out of place for me. Not that it’s bad but, more like the point of of tragedy felt kinda of pointless after they just immediately fixed it. Nlg, I was hella super duper sad at chapter 6, almost felt like crying. But then chapter 7, was kinda a turn off for me. (7.77/10)

Urh I liked this but I am really starting to dislike seme. how the fuck is seme getting mad at uke over a kiss seme made with someone else, like WTF. He is bichy about the fact that uke is not super jealous and whiney. Of course the kiss meant nothing to seme but uke can’t fucking read ur mind, how is he supposed to know that it was forced.
