Apparently the cover is of the MC and ML in the future. Considering the Duke et al wants to kill the real Regas anyways, I'm guessing they succeed. So it looks like Able has to get reincarnated in order for them to be together. Which isn't all that bad since we either get 8 years of slow burn or a jump forward to when ML grows up.
