Edit: Alr i read it till the end and theres nothing i despise more than overcomplicating a perfectly good story. It was fine until chapter 50, infact i really liked the characters, they seemed human, i found yuri's feelings to be especially relatable, the story itself had a nice slow pace, the romance was well written, wasnt perfect but it was actually rather cute. The art is also extremely unique and sooo nice to look at, no complaint there.
After about chapter 50 it honestly started feeling like a burden to read, it was filled with unnecessary conflict and even shock value. A mistake i believe a lot of the authors of theses mangas make is that they are too afraid to end it, instead they add a bunch of new plot lines just for the sake of prolonging it. I think this is exactly what happened here. Theres nothing wrong with a simple story, infact one of my favorite mangas are exactly just that, what matters the most in my opinion is the story telling. Sometimes less is more.
