I read the novel before finding the manhua and it's incredible. They do a great job of capturing the spirit of the novel with the illustrations.
I recall having to read it through 3 different translators who did such a good job getting all 20 or more (it's been over 4 -5 years since i read them) chapters done. It's super helpful to read the end notes as well.
Yeah... However, all the novels that author wrote are sooooo angsty and dramatic.... Have you read ju primas nostis, and the fallen hero?

it was not as gruesome as Hua Hua you long..it was sad but sweet at the same time..i felt more sweet emotions and smilled laughed a bit...it was a very good read...Thanks for the recommendation
