Tbh this isn't even a long relationship they knew each other since forever and were dating for more than half of that if I'm not wrong. After being cheated like that and not even given the reason why at least 1 punch is forgivable. Also, even though I understand that he loved him since forever and that even after being cheated he still wants to stay together, I'd still just cut all ties with him and try to move on. Whether the other person truly loved me or not.
Well this is a manga so there is that clear difference from reality (for most cases at least). So I wouldn't call this an abusive relationship (no matter how weird it sounds to some people) considering the situation. For example there was that other manga were 1 of the two was treated awfully at his work place + he knew that his lover didn't like him the way he did (he still had feelings for an old friend) so he ended up beating the heck out of him +forcing him till they finally broke up. THAT in my opinion WAS an abusive relationship ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ
I totally agree that the Uke deserved that, but only because I know that this is fictional. Authors have to exaggerate and go to great lengths to get a response - that's understandable.
I think nothing would have hurt the Uke more than to see the Seme walk away completely stoic and unaffected - walk away and enter into a happy relationship with someone else. Revenge is after all a dish best served ice cold.
