Any kind of yaoi manga is fine.
What is "mainstream yaoi manga"? Because I read everything so I don't know what is mainstream nowadays.
But my top recs is pretty much everything by the following artists (like you just check their works and see if the plot interest you, but generally everything is really good): Naono Bohra, Harada, Psyche Delico, Yuiji Aniya, Ichikawa Kei, Nekota Yonezou, Ogeretsu Tanaka, Suzuki Tsuta and Takanaga Hinako.
And some of my top pics on individual titles: Akihabara Fall in Love, Count 0, Dear my god, Hana wa saku ka, Jackass! Sawatte ii tte dare ga itta yo?, jibun katte, junketsu drop, the first thing I do in the morning, sayonara itoshi no my friend, ookami shounen to hamu no hito, udagawachou de mattete yo, yasaotoko to sadist, soredemo kamawanai.
