A young woman dies in an accident and gets reicarnated into an otome game as the villainess at the exact time the villainess is getting expelled from school and shunned by all her peers for "bullying" the otome games protag. Using her knowledge of the game she is able to convince her father that instead of throwing her away, to send her off to a fief their family owns, run by her good-for-nothing brother who follows the second prince and his new gf, the protag, around (bc he lowkey has a crush on the protag). Using epic gamer moves she slowly restores the fief from the shithole her brother made it, which makes him upset because she is supposed to be a screw up who bullied an innocent girl. The villainess is able to reconcile with her brother by admitting he should not have acted childish and lashed out verbally to the protag, but she only did so because she really did love the second prince before and was told all her life she would marry him, and then he was swept away by a new love that she had no say in (the second prince is a douche tho so shes way better off). Around this time she meets a guy named Dean who helps her run her fief by covering where she lacks. She kind of starts to fall in love with him but her trauma of her previous love with the second prince prevents her from seeing this and hinders her commitment. It is revealed to the audience that Dean is actually the First Prince, who is known well for his good deeds but has never made a public appearance royally, so no one knows what he looks like. Where the story is now, she was just recently framed by the Pope of being unholy for destroying a church. In reality, there was a woman living there protecting a bunch of orphans, but the church was vandalized by some punks, so it was torn down to be rebuilt for them. But the Pope who does not like her (most ppl dont like her bc of how she treated the protag in the past, who is seen as a saint by most of the empire), so he framed her for a church-crime in order to try and ruin her family, but he fails bc she is able to prove him wrong. Now she has gained an alliance with the Pope's son b/c he came to her begging to make an alliance since he now had nothing left and she convinced him to sign a contract as a plain clergyman, stripping him of his title but giving him a chance to start over.
