i was rooting for the mc for 46 chapters ,
throughout all the ridiculousness all the plotholes all the goofy behaviours
but this one line took me out " I once called a young boy to my chambers, his feelings didn't matter to me after all , but if he was a member of the royalty , I believe he deserves an apology "
I didn't know it was possible to prove that the writing is classist , racist and peadophilic in one sentence , but apparently it's not that hard
and let's not talk about realism (like how back in the day young boys were to used to entertain the royals) , in a manhwa about a mc who wants to be recognised after reincarnation , without sharing a peep ,
and I won't talk much about the plot cause someone summarised it better than me " if plot armour was the whole plot "

Maybe a younger me would have enjoyed the resolution. but now that I am older and have some very colourful experiences, this just reeks of dysfunction and can probably turn abusive too. may it's the old age that robbed me of optimism and romanticism or maybe now I can see the truth for what it is

feels really funny and irritating at the same time ,

the writing in general is pretty childish too
yuna is a caricature of a shojo oujisama character and she's very 1 demiontional in her "goodness"
same goes with kijima , he's the epitome of a naive insecure shojo heroine from a cliche story
then comes fuji , and I loved the angst and the multifacetedness she brought
but now it's just feels like a lesson in "handling lust for a taken man "
