As someone getting older this really warms my heart...
Still the same even after many years of reading it for the first time, it always have this throbing sensation at the part when Akira realize that reality can bite you at the moment and you lose yourself and people you love most in the process. What I really like most about this, is the immediate solace they have found again with each other after all those years wasted away on feeling of losing and longing for each other after chasing the reality one had perceive to be.
