I like the pacing, the tension, the build up, but i just wasnt satisfied how ml redeemed himself through that??? I feel like the explanation for what he did was glossed, lacking and only on the surface part? Im not sure but when you compared it with mc, it feels lacking for me.

Tbh I have a feeling the ML is going to do more questionable stuff in the future (because he's still omitting stuff with the MC and I feel like there's been stuff mentioned in the story so far that's kind of setting stuff up for conflict), so maybe that's why redemption is getting pushed back. Maybe it's because I read a lot of angst but this is very much giving off the vibe of calm before the storm kind of thing

So I actually finished the novel earlier that's why this topic will contain spoiler!! beware!!
It made me cry on some parts especially on how pitiful taekin was, and our mc too of course. Some parts hit home as on how reassuring would it be if an adult came to protect you, told you "we're here for you", "it's adults business' so stand back and we'll protect you", all those reassuring phrases that i wish i heard too... SO yea, I thought it was funny at first but as the story progress, you'll see how serious the problem is and how heechan will grow on emotional side.
For the ML, he was great i guess. But i had hoped that his POV was longer and it wasnt like that. FOr me, he came off as manipulative lmao. I wish the author had instead made ML's POV on his efforts not just some strategies based on his planning and money. He even installed a cctv on heechan's store in the pretext of it as protection for thieves like bruuhh
ALso, I hoped that the side story(their love story)revolved around on them talking about their doubts, confusion, fears, and those negative emotion, specially our heechan. I just wasn't that satisfied but it was a great read.
To end, I had goosebumps when I Taekin wope up!!! So happy for this bb boy ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

IIRC it only involves namsu? One scene that i remember was when namsu was drunk the 2nd time coz he drinked a lot, and it was heechan's turn to drop him off of his house(lost the rock paper and scissor game w/ the 2). iirc heechan msg minjae about dropping namsu off or namsu's drunk, something like that.
When namsu and heechan are already at the front of the apartment bldg, minjae was there and instead of heechan carrying namsu by the shoulder, minjae did it. Take note that Namsu gets really vulgar when he's drunk. When they're already inside, namsu was gonna lean towards heechan but minjae stood between the 2 of them, irritated.
I cant remember clearly if this is the first time minjae asked if namsu is gay :v
