Here's the thing. Daon is poor we all know. The brown haired guy with mole. I'll call him mole loves Daon. But that attachment he created for always being Daon's side and helping him wasn't really love. He didn't accept Daon's feelings because he knows that what Daon has for him is just mere gratefulness. If he accepts his feelings sooner or later he'll falter since it's not love and he'll lose Daon in a short time. He knows he is not a good person. He is just possessive of him. He has been trying to find a reason to live and Daon is a life line to him. The author tries to make us see that attachment is scary. Imagine having a guy in your life that gives you everything basically your savior. Of course, he'll be everything to you but those kinds of relationship doesn't always evolve in love.
Daon really loved dark blue-haired a'hole guy. But he is unhinged. He is a red flag who likes to sleep around. He doesn't want to settle with one person because that is just him. Daon didn't realize that he likes him because he knows what kind of person he is. The reason why I believe that he did really love him is because he got swayed by him twice to sleep with him. Something he didn't thought of with mole-d guy.
The reason why the author established the fact that Daon is poor is because they wanted us to see how attachment can cloud our minds when it comes to love. The savior thing is quite a scary start of any relationship.
Daon realized that he just wanted an ordinary story and ordinary life. The reason why he chose the Company Guy. Without attachment he thought of being with him. Beyond what he can offer him he really loves him. No attachment, just pure love.
I just really need a story like this so I read through it... But it does feel like watching two teenager get together

Good thing I read it even though it says on going... It's a good read tho. Although, predictable it has a story unlike most manga right now.
This is like a sitcom now and I love it hahaha... The family dynamics remind me of Modern Family
