I don't know why everybody's complaining, I really liked it. It was cute...maybe too cute/innocent

Am I the only one who was hoping for things to get better but they never did? I was hoping that the asshead of a mom would go look for her and understand that her daughter was a victim but shit just got worse and worse and they really abandon their child.
