I hate omegaverse w a passion..l didn’t realize this was one but since I alr put it in my want to read, ima give it a shot let’s see how this goes (pray for me)
honestly, this might as well not even be an omegaverse since their secondary sexes (alpha, beta, omega) are practically nonexistent in this story. their 2nd sex is more background info that so far has yet to even matter in the story.
i think the only real point to it is so that later in the story MC is prob gonna get all hot n' bothered and need to bang the duke commander guy (like he did in his first life cause yeah this is a regression story) and they just wanna use omegaverse stuff as an excuse to make the story gay.
Without spoiling it too much, there is more than just sex in this omegaverse. The focus is more on the "fated pair" part of omegaverse(the connection between Yuder and Kishiar) and how Yuder, after experiencing the horrible treatment of omegas in the first timeline, advocates and initiates policies for the safety of omegas. There are layers~
Same but i think here the story comes before the porn, so we should be fine,
I don't really see the point of using an omegaverse (unless the author wants to do mpreg but i pray it won't happen) since they could be soulmates and have a special bon without needing the omegaverse setting, but whatever, it's only been mentioned once in 35 chapters so i'll trust the author.
Yeah this is a really slow burn so it takes a long time for yuder to manifest, however the omegaverse is slowly introduced when a few of the side characters manifest their second gender and yuder and kishiar work on new healt policies for the second genders. And even when yuder does manifest in this tl the author doesn't use this as an excuse for them to bang, which only happens several chapters later after they already short of have a stablished relationship.
But as I said this is a real slow burn it took (if I'm not wrong) like 200 chapters before they even got to kiss, which was so worth it
You've changed my mind, i don't, don't like omegaverse, i only dislike omegaverses that try to use this setting in a way to hide the fact that otherwise the characters would never have interacted with each other.
The societal aspect is really interesting, my interest is picked, i can't wait how this is going to be developed now, thanks!!
Yeah I feel like even if this wasn't a omegaverse yuder and kishiar would still be together because they're so down bad for each other, in the manhwa it doesn't really get that across, but in the novel every time they meet yuder is like "kishiar looked like a statue of the sun god" like this mf can't stop talking about how hot ml is and he doesn't even realize that lmao.
I love this story, and I feel like the author really knew how to work on the tropes they chose for it making it a really great story
Omegaverse isn't everyones cup of tea lol, but I get it, I was wondering the same thing while reading it, and I do like this trope, for this one u just gotta trust the process, later in the story we get a few big and smaller arcs around second genders that are pretty interesting, this story is really unlike any omegaverse I've read before
I am gonna read this, but not proudly. I just need more bl manhwa with gaming like this ughhhh im gonna curse the pedos existence every time i see him tho
It is kinda funny that so many readers are more concerned about seme being a pedo than being a killer I am also not a fan of smut between minors and adults. But given the "serial killer" essence of the seme character, the age gape between these guys is the last concern. It feels a bit hypocritical to curse the author for "pedo" trope while enjoying "psycho killer in love" trope
I don't blame anyone for enjoying this manga. It is smut with suspense and there is obviously no idea value in porn. It connects with our kinks and excitement more than with our hearts. So for me "minor/adult" issue here is not actually an issue - it is just another pervy aspect common for japanese smut (but, yeah, kinda disgusting for european). I am just curious why it triggers people more than a murderer aspect of the story. Actually I think murder is much more heavy crime than assault - there is no return for the victim, no second chance, and it is a loss forever for the people who love the victim.
Dropped!! I doubt anyone is even gonna continue reading this lmao, no one likes forced romance, and he clearly doesn’t want it. He doesn’t even view her in a somewhat romantic way
