i don't exactly seek tragedy, but i definitely don't avoid it either. i think there are certain types of stories that, if they had happy endings per-say they would lose a lot of their emotional impact. tragedy can explore a thread of thought and ideas in a way that a happily ever after cannot. like banana fish for instance, these characters lives......   reply

weirdly enough i love manga but honestly dont like anime very much. i feel like theres much more up to interpretation when you're reading rather than watching. like characters voices, the tone of the scenes and all that, its up to you and it feels more personal and consistent. and i also firmly believe that if you cant animate something well you sh......   reply
