just now re-read this in one sitting after a few years of my initial reading and man, FUCK jiwook. i am so embarrassed that i ever tried to defend him back then, he's just so unbelievably pathetic his inferiority complex DEFINES him. he's genuinely delusional, the only thing that could possibly make sense of his continued callousness towards his brother (during their teen years) was siwon's nativity to the disparity between them, but siwon ultimately realised this and confronted jiwook even saying that he would accept if the problem was he himself and that he was willing to change, jiwook by this point was genuinely such a hateful person that he would rather have siwon suffer than to take up that offer, that was the moment jiwook became unredeemable and i lost all my sympathy for him.

siwon loved his brother, siwon was TRYING for his brother down to his most miserable moments and he is not responsible for how other people perceive jiwook, it's not his fucking fault for simply BEING. siwon's naivety isn't comparable to the twisted delusions that jiwook incubated in his tiny little skull, its not his fault either that jiwook never in their entire lives sincerely communicated to him. jiwooks victimhood turned him into a monster and siwon was unable to anticipate that because they are two sides of the same coin.

joohoon may have been complicit but it was jiwook that initiated, set up and ultimately found pleasure in the rape and subsequent death of his own brother. he is a spineless murderer and i hope to god he experiences all depths of mental torment from joohoon, they're both psychos perfect for each other. jiwook suffers from the consequences of his own actions yet he has the gall to piss and moan like the world is against him, he made bad choices and then he committed murder never feeling remorse until it became a liability to him. if hell were real he'd be a VIP member.

no really its absurd how this is only a oneshot, with a world as fantastic and characters this well written this story could become a huge serial hit, and it should.

i really hope. its continued because this is everything ive wanted from an action comic for a while now. its truly unique and truly cool.
