Given his past, I kinda understand that his "friends" are having a hard time believing that he's actually serious about his current relationship..but still it's not their place to interfere or do anything about it.
The only time should you answer other people's phone is if you think that the call os important. And If you did answer, just let the other person know that the person they're reaching is currently unavailable. Why did he have to do all that???
