It was good at first and then they got lazy with the plot and the art. Compare the art from the early chapters to now, it just got progressively worse.

FL’s inner thoughts feel very condescending. It’s almost a if she has to convince herself Ophelia is pitiful in order to be okay with the life she led. From the snippets we saw, FL is more of a lackey to Ophelia, and Ophelia was jealous of FL’s healthy body and took her anger out on her for it. They don’t seem to be genuine friends. The men who were courting Ophelia all seemed very shallow as well. Their obsession with her had more to do with objectifying her and making her theirs more than anything to go with love. From the way they interacted with anybody who could be Ophelia’s substitute, that was more than obvious. None of the characters are very likable, they all leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, the translation is so weird it ruins the nuances of the story. That might also be where I’m getting the perception FL doesn’t care
