I really do enjoy this story and if it ever comes out in English officially I’m throwing my wallet at it while screaming “Take it! Take it all! My soul too if need be!”
First off, despite some ppl not wanting the MC to be together, it’s most likely (nothing is certain tho I’m not the author) gonna happen, I’ll be happy with that ending if there’s more character growth between them in later chapters and they become honest with each other (tho I do still like the fighting between them)
Anyway, I’ve been thinking for awhile about how it’ll end and got an idea. What if (if the caste game is still in affect) Azusa becomes king again and Karino gets a lower rank (maybe joker even) But instead of bitter evil revenge Azusa “orders” Karino to kneel down before him then do the same things they have doing together (only more consensual and Azusa is “in charge” but still the uke) Tho it might be a bit iffy with Karino dominating personality but he could cave for Azusa and still make him whimper ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
(Please note that this made more sense in my head, I’m just too tired to form the words needed)
Just something that’s been buzzing about in my head whenever I reread this story. Either way, I can’t wait to see how it ends.

Is this story angsty enough to have the seme see those two from afar and get the wrong impression thus creating the bane of every romance story...... MISUNDERSTANDING?!
This was one of the first ones I read to completion on Lezhin. I’m rereading it agin and can remember what I was thinking back in the day. “FOR F*CK SAKE’S! LET THEM BE HAPPY!!” Was usually the forethought.
The art was different to what I was drawn too but I’m glad I didn’t let that stop me. The world the author built is both horrible (from the characters’ point of view) and amazing detailed. And the characters and their developments, there are no words.
Really want to read more things by this author.....

I will admit it took awhile to get used to the who the big bad villain was, only coz back then it and reading is week by week seemed anticlimactic to me. Sort of like a plot twist I didn’t see coming because it was something I didn’t really want? But after reading loads more other stories, broadening my horizons, and rereading this again, it makes sense and it’s a readying good twist.
I seriously can’t get enough of this story. Shou-Kun is the best.
I feel bad for Shou-kun but then think that even though he is being manipulated and dense in some ways, he really understand that psychopath really can't live without him. lol. can't really decide how I feel about their relationship but in a way as an outsider it is really not my business I just hope the psychopath doesn't repeat his mistake because Shou-kun has the power to destroy him.
I hope so too, he’s realised that he doesn’t want to break him at all so he might pull back a bit. It’s why I like Shou-kun, he’s definitely got a take-no-shit attitude (even if he is slow on the uptake) so he can set the guy straight. And how many ukes do we know that actually get good hits on the semes?
God I wish there was a third volume but at the same time, where could it go from here except in a round about way?

It’s an opened ending I think. (aren’t they the best! *eyeroll*) It shows the seme (for the life of me I can’t remember how to spell his name!) is still trying to get Shou-Kun by guilting him and emotionally manipulating him but it also shows that Shou-kun is not falling for it as easily.
