When eunyungs dad was represented as a black figure, a shadow he felt superior. His presence was scary almost and domineering. It felt looming over him and strong. But the moment we see his real face, he turns into a pruny pathetic old man. A man who's existence overshadowed by a cockroach. His control over eunyungs life is miniscule.
Also eunyungs ability to pack and leave within 2 seconds is legendary but sad.
I was randomly browsing dramas AND THIS HAS A LIVE ACTION. I'M FREAKING TF OUT. IT'S CURRENTLY RUNNING SO CHECK IT OUT YA'LL.
Edit: I watched it, it's good so far. I really like the cast selection, specifically for the mom. An actor I really like (Abe Alen) was casted as the creepy teacher. I thought that would suck, but he's nailing making me mad uncomfy from the first episode itself.
These tests to determine whether a person is good or evil is ultimately disrespecting the very concept of being human. What is wrong with not wanting to jump on fire? What is so evil about prioritising your lover? What is so demonic over the dilemma of a choice where either leads to death? If we are to be judged on one dimensional concepts like an mcq with a set answer, why were we given a will in existence?
I did like when the angel said if it's that hard to decide whether he's bad , them he's not.
You said it so well, exactly, what's so wrong about trying to save your loved one? And I always had an issue with the trolley test, is the value of one life less than 5? Are humans just a number? Is he evil just because he want to save a loved one?
Although some say the solution to the original trolley problem (no loved ones, just one person vs five people all random) is saving 5 people. I do not think it has a proper solution. There is no right answer. Which is ironic since the angels used it to determine his character. It's simply used to make you think about your morality. Do you think saving 5 people at the cost of one is right or do you avoid any responsibility for the death of five people. It is a hypothetical situation and if somehow real the, evil lies in the one who tied those people up and made you choose.
