Yes, you can push the pill down with ur tongue to insure it goes down the throat & the water helps it flow when doing so, you can place your hands a certain way to hold the other person head down so it be easier (this comes from someone who saw it in a TV show & tried it with someone when I was sick lol a few days later my "friend" got sick ) FYI it's kinda easy but also a little difficult depending
