the part where abel was shielding the prince from the queen, whispering about their fun times together in the forest while he himself is literally getting stabbed to death, his back is gushing out blood and his own life is ceasing into non-existence, but there's a child trembling in his arms who needs him more than anything, so he lulls him to whatever semblance of comfort his last breath could muster, envelops him in a tight and warm hug before his own body turns cold.... because he is the only solace the prince has ever and will ever know

i've never felt so betrayed in my entire life. the art is amazing. the comedy is top-notch. the three idiots are fucking fantastic. the main couple is too adorable it's almost illegal. and then in the end they did not even become a couple.
