Hi ヾ(☆▽☆)
To all of you not knowing this:
The Netflix show was supposed to be an "animated manga" (that's what the author wanted and what you actually see in the chapters). But Netflix advertised it as an anime, which is not. So if you want to blame someone, blame Netflix please.
And if you felt not satisfied with the Netflix adaptation (which I can understand) remember that there is also a drama series!!! You can find it online searching a bit (I won't say the site just in case, 'cause we don't want ppl to turn it down) but if you are interested, go for it! ^^ it tells a bit of a different story but I think it's nice bc like this you won't feel bored about already knowing what would happen

Sekihan (red bean rice) is often served on special occasions throughout the year in Japan, for example, birthdays, weddings and some holidays.
Sekihan is so strongly connected with celebrations that the phrase "Let's have sekihan" has acquired the meaning "Let's celebrate." It is believed that sekihan is used for celebrations because of its red color, symbolic of happiness in Japan.
(Got it from wikipedia)
So yes, we can say the sister was very happy hahahヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
