oh my, I loved the heartfelt conversation. there are some things you really can't fix just because of companionship or just because you promise that you'll change. impressions that you acquired as a kid will really follow you for so long. it's quite scary that I also don't want to exhibit the bad side of my parents but sometimes my actions remind me of them. kaji stopping himself before saying the full thing his parents once said is an oddly familiar feeling. realizing that finding comfort in fukami and relying on that to fix his issue is not real love is reassuring. they're not perfect but they're slowly working it out. it's beautiful.
