Why is the manhwa getting dragged so badly, like BRO at this point i don't even know the point of this story

Is it in a good stage to read? Or maybe should i marinated this a bit more? I also hear from some places that this have angst, can someone spoil me is it in the curent timeline or was it in the past or it will be in the future?
I have to hold your hand as I say this. The angst is everywhere, the MC is suffering from the death of his comrades in the past and he has some mental issues, it's too hard to tell. You can just marinate if you want, but the story is now halfway through, so it's okay if you want to binge read. (Sorry if this is hard for you to understand, English is not my first language)(⌒▽⌒)
