Okay so basically,(MAJOR SPOILERS WARNING)
Dr.Seok will be bitten by an Adam but will survive because of a fever, before that Major Kwak will find him with rebel notes and show him some rotting corpses before locking him up on a basement if another shelter. (It’s for Dr.Seok’s sake dw). After the fever their relationship will finally take a turn. Dr.Seok will get kidnapped again by serpent, get rescued they settle a few more things before going to Russia. (Russia arc jk they skip it) by now they already obsessed with each other and a little over 1 year time skip. Dr.Seok made the true Vaccine and they heading back to the city now ran by the serpent. Dr.Seok proves the legitimacy of the vaccine to the garden of Eden cult members by using it on himself. They go meet second master (who was in hiding) then serpent barges in and kills second master, kidnaps Dr.Seok and sends Major off a cliff with handcuffs in a jeep. Major barely survives and starts a rebellion with Major Lee’s mom (aka the royal family) and makes it back just in time to save Dr.Seok from being shot by yeon tae. Mega happy moment and Major continue the reveling and sends Dr.Seok to udo, where the second master used to live to spy through “Mother”’s security cameras. Dr.Seok finds out his location has been leaked and serpent sent ppl to kill him because back when he was almost killed by yeon tae, he found out due to certain circumstances not mentioned in this summary because I’m tryna simply everything, that his body contained the NEW 8th Adam variant. Now everyone wants him dead. But Major rather have the Adam virus keep going than kill dr.Seok. Also Major is immune to ALL viruses.
So here comes the grand finale.
He goes into the mountains where he knows Major Kwak will find him and he does but before they reach each other Serpent will show up and try to separate them one last time. Dr.Seok is smart and doesn’t fall for his manipulation. Major gets 3-4 bullet wounds and serpent FINALLY, FINALLY gets infected and gets killed. Dr.Seok will get sent to Russia while Major Kwak stays behind to get executed for killing the serpent (master). But he doesn’t because Major Lee ain’t about that life and they kill everyone before Major Kwak dies (JUST KIDDING). Lee hee Chan will take over rainbow city and for 5 months Major Kwak will act like an idiot before sneaking away one day to Russia.(it’s 5 months but the way they r obsessed with each other makes that seem like decades). They finally meet again AND AHHHH SO ADORABLE. End of main story

They don't show up, at least not in any of the five volumes of the novel. The sides stories of Kiss me if you can end with them agreeing to have another baby (specifically during their honeymoon) but that's it, no pregnancy or baby showed.

Josh proposed and they agreed to get married after the filming of the movie but the novel ends before that so we don't get to see them marrying or starting their life together with Pete. They've been dating less than a year at that point, the novel doesn't spans for a long period of time.
