It could also just be the author making a very fucked up story (this wold be most likely, though we'd have to wait for more chapters to really know.) completely knowing that isn't the case though.

Unfortunately, most yaoi authors profit these peverse misconceptions of actual gay relationships - they seem to think two men in love and having sex is just a womans sexual fantasy, and often completely bastardize it with rape and pedophillia.
I already know that there are people who've read this who thinks this is fine, but a 14 year old girl and a grown up man is not.
Both are wrong and though this is just fiction, stuff like this shouldn't be excused or even published in the first place.
It's just like how lolicons and shotacon is wrong, you shouldn't feel so comfortable sexualising or setting children up with grown ass adults.
And yes, if you think loli's and shota's are disgusting but don't feel the same about a fourteen year old kid and a grown up having a relationship....that's a double standard.
I know they're not, but this statement is more aimed at the people who actually WANT them to get together when he's only fourteen. I know it's normal to have crushes on people older than you at that age, but the romance tag makes me think it's going to end with them in a relationship. Be it when he's fourteen or when he's an adult, i think it's inappropriate. I never said this was sexualising it but it's definitively wrong.

I know the description said there won't be any romance, and though i desperately hope that to be true...i don't think so.
From reading the two first chapters and the last one, people around them seem to think it is totally fine for a twelve year old and a grown up man to be together. Also the vibe i get from this, i feel like there will be romance between them in the future.
And am i the only one who got a bit grossed out by the authors note ? The way they talked about how innocent children are opposed to adults...it's a heavy no from me.
They could have been saying kids being innocent felt more like how one looks at puppies and kittens just cute and found in their actions, I didn't find it all that creepy.But I do hope the author doesn't try to insert any romantic setting as well. The first few chapters did get me worried but let's see how the story progresses, right now Natsumi feels more like a older friend with aoi harboring a childhood crush, understandably.
this manga makes no sense, the relationship is extremely toxic, there is really no actual plot but um...the art style is nice i guess ?

Okay well, i'll just start by saying this chapter was a mess and felt very forced. All of a sudden we see a bit of Yuyang (finally) and then it's basically just cut to him beating up redhead.
You can say it's needed to have someone tell Yuyang all that but why did it have to happen out of nowhere, and by a character who barely knows anything about Yuyang and Lihuan's relationship.
The author also took their time to build on a lot of things (like lihuan and yuyang going back and forth and never really making progress even after like ninety chapters) so why not wait for this one ?
And speaking about Yuyang and Lihuan's relationship:
I remember loving this manhua and always looking forwards to new chapters but at some point that just stopped, and it felt like their back and forth was getting repetitive.
Lihuan expresses his feelings, Yuyang says he's straight, Lihuan get's rightfully sad or annoyed and yet he still tries, Yuyang blushes and is charmed, it looks like he might actually accept his advances this time, yet still ends up saying Lihuan is straight and we're back to square one.
It's repetitive and sometimes it makes me not want to root for them at all.
And lastly, the fact that the author has made two other couples that we're suddenly supposed to root for, when the story for the main couple isn't even half finished.
I'm suspecting they might have done this because they know we want to know what happens with Yuyang and Lihuan, and to keep us reading the story they dragged it out so that we basically have no choice but to read to the end.
That and maybe because story telling, but honestly, seeing how rushed this chapter was...i'm not really sure.
At this point i can't tell if this is the translators fucking around with us or not but man i love it

We're at the mercy of the translators when it comes to what we're reading so if they wanted and really good at crafting it, they could write an entirely new story with the same visuals lol!
Pretty sure most the stuff is on point though with the visuals as they are which makes it just as hilarious.
