Before everyone jumps on Jitae, he is definitely lying, to save Mieum. He knows that Hajoon hates Mieum and that Jian just wants to use Mieum, so he needs to show that he doesn't care about him.
Also if you remember Mieum has never asked Jitae for money, he tried to work quietly, and after getting exposed as a spy, it was Jitae who offered him to help find his dad. But here Jitae says that Mieum wants money (while what Mieum wants is to find his father,and it was Jitae who first offered to help him).
And in the end he says "that's why I'm going to stop". My theory is that he is saying that he is going to stop coming to the bar (for prostitutes) , because he wants to "play" with Mieum (while we know that he loves Mieum and wants to stay with him and do it with him only, but if he doesn't go to the bar, they will suspect something)
Sorry but Joobin is so toxic, like he was the one who pushed Baek Un away, and then went back to him and so on, but now he is the one talking about "have we ever said -I Love You- to each other?" Like???? Yeah you were a wreck, and maybe didn't love him, or anyone else but don't blame only Baek Un, you had your fair share in it
