Also if you remember Mieum has never asked Jitae for money, he tried to work quietly, and after getting exposed as a spy, it was Jitae who offered him to help find his dad. But here Jitae says that Mieum wants money (while what Mieum wants is to find his father,and it was Jitae who first offered to help him).
And in the end he says "that's why I'm going to stop". My theory is that he is saying that he is going to stop coming to the bar (for prostitutes) , because he wants to "play" with Mieum (while we know that he loves Mieum and wants to stay with him and do it with him only, but if he doesn't go to the bar, they will suspect something)
Sorry but Joobin is so toxic, like he was the one who pushed Baek Un away, and then went back to him and so on, but now he is the one talking about "have we ever said -I Love You- to each other?" I can actually see what the author is going for, like JK was kinda neutral to the gift, even asking questions. But when he learned that Dan might have a life outside of him, he got angry (just like how in BJ Alex Jiwon got angry when he thought DG would do a video with MD.)
I know it had been obvious since the beginning but JK has some serious mental problem with the way he is trying to control Dan.
