I really don't understand this family tree, we need to know more about Jitae's father.
Because if I understand right Jitae's Mom and Dad were married first. But then why is Jian the oldest son? Did his father cheat on Jitae's Mom with Suryeon, had Jian (Yeah I know he is actually from Mr. Park) , and then go back to Jitae's Mom and had Jitae?
And then divorced from his Mom? I don't know anymore
The plot is a bit convoluted, but basically, Jitae’s father might have been set up and ended up sleeping with Suryeon while he was in a relationship with Jitae’s mother, either when they were dating or already married. Having a child late isn’t too unusual, so when Soeun was pregnant with Jitae, Suryeon brought Jian (who was around six years old at the time) and claimed he was Jitae’s father’s son. Later, in chapter 46, it was revealed that Jian’s biological father was actually Yang.
Honestly, Jitae’s plan worked because Suryeon was just too dumb, and with Jin’s help, someone Suryeon trusted, it all played out smoothly. But I doubt the author put much effort into developing the plot or making the villains smart, the main focus is the love story of the main couple anyway.
Still, no matter how stupid they are, the antagonists will probably struggle for a few more chapters, considering the author said this storyline will last until season 3. I’m curious how they plan to intertwine Jin and Jian’s stories because majjip did say they’re important characters as well.
