It had some angst but didn't feed on that as a focus point (it did resolve the parental issue once that jacka$$ showed up) but showed two sweet souls moving on and growing together for the most part.

By chapter 27 I wondered how all this would be resolved in one more chapter?... That ending was quick and very bland but it wouldn't have worked unless main boy went a bit off his rocker too in order to fully accept him so it kinda worked for the plot. Just felt like the author couldn't figure out how to end it and was like F it he'll just accept him and they will live happily twisted after.

I might give this another go later on if it ever gets a better translation.
