i see all these people complaining abt the pacing but i find it pretty nice, it's like a more realistic progression of feelings n i love the little bits of contact they have bc it makes every one seem special instead of just,,going with the flow
hyped for every chapter lmao

It's not the pacing of their relationship which is drawing criticism, but the pacing off the webtoon a a whole. It's like 19 days, lot's of short chapters which just draw out a story. Then the author flits from showing serious issues like homophobia and and the aftermath of a big family argument, to some stupid childish sports competition and some idiot woman character. It's not "realistic", the characters act times act like children, important issues get glossed over so the author presumably has to show some sport event rather than a student protest because of the extreme censorship.

Nobody or at least I didn't mean to say that make it faster as in I'd want them to be together in 2 chapters but there's a difference between slow burn and taking fucking forever to get to the point. Tell me, what was so important that happened in the most recent chapter 55? The author couldn't have put more dialogue or some events within that one chapter? Literally I can summarize it in a few words: Yuyang thinking about Lihuan. Lihuan helps him and Yuyang avoids him. DONE All the little bits like people in the crowd saying that the girl was running out of boundary WASTED one panel of space. There so much unnecessary dragging...oh dear.

Agree. For some reason it's rare for people to type constructively critical comments on this webtoon, instead people write the most inane nonsense. The author is seriously dragging out the plot, there isn't the dialogue and the characters internally conveying their thoughts like you would expect. Yes the drawings and colouring is top notch, but that will only stretch so far. Being gay in China is such a problem, yet this isn't really addressed properly, nor is there the sense that these are all adults at university. The sports competition was the last straw, these are men and women studying for degrees, why are they running about like 10 year olds? And why did the author waste an entire chapter to show some irresponsible woman running with her eyes closed and causing injury to herself and others, which she didn't even apologise for? We've already had the "woman who loves one of the MC's" trope earlier on, is the author really going to repeat this? And undoubtedly if this is the case, it will lead to Lihaun rejecting her advances and saying he has someone he loves, and Yuyang will over hear and this will warm his heart. How bloody cliche.

I don't get those people either, and yeas sometimes in life things don't get "fix" in one day or two days after you argue. it can keep going like this for like two years! I meant the fight with his parents.
it was too comlicted to just be "fix" in one or two chapter's.
YY still need to grow and learn more about himself and to love himself more. that the whole point. so yeas in that way it is realistic.
and those who comments need to remember, money is a thing to the creator.
i looked on the wiki to see what was coming next in the anime and then i saw how it ended now i'm crying i'm not ready for that :'')
