Starts with Kyon asking Logan why he's drinking alone (he wanted a beer, apparently). Kyon says it's fine when he's with Ryan, but now what if Master sees him? Logan says Lucaon has been so busy lately that he just stays cooped up in his study.

Logan then asks Kyon if something has been bothering him since recently Kyon has been sighing a lot. Kyon denies it but thinks about the way he's been ignored. Since the (almost?) kiss, Lucaon has been pretending it didn't happen, unlike before (when he probably would've gotten angry or some kind of reaction). Kyon hopes he'll find time today to talk to him.

In the next scene, one of the servants is asking Kyon what to do with some garbage, when a zero attacks that servant. The zero lunges at Kyon.

Lucaon kills a zero attacking one of the servants. It's not just one or two zeroes, have they targeted him? He's worried about Kyon.

Scene cuts to Kyon with blood on his hands and Lucaon's knife. He's shaken up .... he just murdered someone, even if it was a zero. He sees a hand peek out the door, and joins Logan in the warehouse. He explains he's not hurt and the blood is from a zero. Logan asks if he's a hunter, which Kyon denies, so Logan mentions the knife is pretty dangerous for a non-Hunter to be using. Kyon agrees though he wouldn't have survived without it.

Logan covers Kyon's mouth as a zero walks past. Kyon wants to know how he heard the footsteps from so far away, but Logan changes the subject. How did the zeroes get here? (Remember, Lucaon's mansion is in the middle of nowhere.) Kyon agrees and wonders if Lucaon is the target....and decides to go find him. Logan tries to stop him (the master can defend himself and Hunters are coming soon). Kyon tells Logan to stay since the zeroes aren't checking every room.

The rest of the servants are in Lucaon's study. I can't quite make out who's talking (pretty sure it's the servants), but they're performing a headcount. Several are missing, including Kyon.

Kyon saves a servant from a zero. Something is wrong. They're slow, and shouldn't be this easy to kill. They stop at the top of the staircase, and Kyon surveys below. There are fewer zeroes than he thought, maybe Lucaon has killed them. He sees a dead servant from earlier, the one with the garbage, and feels bad he hadn't acted quickly enough.

All of a sudden, a hand reaches behind Kyon and the intron logo flashes on his neck. It's not a zero. Kyon falls, confused. The servant and Lucaon both shout Kyon's name. He thinks he can't lose the knife. Lucaon defeats a zero.

When he approaches Kyon, he slashes Lucaon in the eye and the chapter ends.

Sihan calls out to Karis, begging him to try some of the buns he has. He won't say what they are exactly when Karis asks. Eventually, when Karis does take some, he is underwhelmed. It's just bean paste (which is pretty commonly used as a filling in East Asia).
Sihan says these are different because he personally made them (with a little bit of Christoph's help). Karis thinks that's cute.
Sihan gives that stupid giggly look that people have when they're in love. Karis asks why he's laughing. Sihan tells him to eat it quickly while it's hot... does he want something to drink?

Karis asks Sihan to eat with him. So he jumps Karis.
The buns fall to the ground, and Karis is like... what the hell, you just told me to eat the while they're hot.

Sihan tells him later, wait. They start having sex. Karis complains the couch is too small, and when he asks for a condom, it turns out Sihan alsways carries one with him.
Sihan thrusts suddenly, and Karis tells him not to do that. Sihan is concerned he hurt Karis, but he's not hurt, just surprised.
S: I like it like that.
K: what, scaring me?
S: don't be like that <3
K: don't scare me I'll go limp (Sihan keeps going) ... so disobedient

Christoph steps on one of the buns they left laying around. Ryan laughs.

Back to Sihan and Karis.
K:are you going out?
S: something something about a report... he's going out far away, so he'll be home late.
K: lets go together?
S: nah, you stay here.
K: what about Christoph?
S: he's not coming either. I'll be fine. (Karis is very worried) I won't dilly dally.

Kari's thinks to himself on the couch... recently, Sihan has been like this, as if he's forgotten Karis is also a Hunter. He's gonna talk to him about this when he gets back, although it's getting very late.

He gets a call from a friend, asking if he has time today, asking Karis to accompany him.

Sihan gets home. He's kinda off.
Karis asks what's wrong... he's going out but he's concerned about Sihan's weird mood.
Christoph says he nearly got hurt... there were two Hunters, so it was alright, but there was a lot of property damage and the morale is low.

Kari's follows Sihan. "Ah wait, I have something to say to you. You almost got hurt, right? Bring me along if there's more that one Zero. Recently you've been leaving me behind on purpose, right?"
S: I'm just worried you get hurt.
K: that's part of the job.. (something I don't understand)
S: but I can't just accept that...of course I'll worry.
K: even so, you can't make it so I'm not doing anything?
S: no, just when it's dangerous.
K: then even more so when it's dangerous, no? Especially like today, when Christoph couldn't come and you were alone.
S: I'll be fine.
K:what if you're in danger? What if the zero escapes?
S: that won't happen.
K: stop being stubborn! I'm not just your lover; I'm a hunter too! Why've you been worrying lately?
S: servants are weaker than royal bloods
K: I'm still a hunter!
S: even so, humans are weaker. Servants, even more so (no clue if I translated this right... doesn't make much sense imo). No, no... Still, you're right about this affecting my job; maybe we should get another hunter?
K: what? No matter what? That's just you thinking that.

Sihan walks off, and Karis gets a call from the friend he stood up.
