I think so too! I am happy I'm not thr only one that noticed it. Jinneas
OH thank god i thought i was crazy but i was right it is weird! i mean there’s no typo or grammatical errors but at the same time i think some sentences should be formulated better.

Exactly, it feels like it has been translated so literally, like, following the structure of the korean sentences or paragraphs, instead of the structure used in English. Or something like that.
the translation quality of the mature official chapters is terrible. the manta ones for the r15 one is actually so much better :( if only there were a way to combine both together!

"smettlly" on the first panel of the mature officials had me doing a double take like is this a word I've never learned because there couldn't seriously be a typo from the start right?? smh

The thing is, this is an "official" translation, like, there are several steps taken between the translators, the typesetters and the quality reviewers to make sure that the final product is correct and without typos, because they are SELLING the chapters in the official platform. So yes, the people uploading it here are great, but the people that work for the official platforms (in this case not Manta, but l*zh*n) and translate the chapters are so NOT doing their jobs. Like, they are paid to translate/typesett/QCheck this title and this is the level of their work? In my experience, amatorial scanlators and/or translators do a far better job than this. Sorry if I'm salty, but I used to work in the comic publishing industry, and this level of work would have been tossed in the bin and the people behind it yelled at. But as long as l*zh*n approves it, then I feel okay in reading it here without paying them even a cent. I am sorry for the author of Secondo Piatto, but they did them dirty here.

i totally agree with you. if i'm paying for the content, i expect better and it should be a given to have high-quality translations. to be fair, it appears that l*zh*n outsourced the actual localisation work to someone else for this one but regardless, they're releasing on their platform and it needs to meet their usual standards so the poor-quality work is still on them.
okay so is it just my impression or the translation of the official chapters are so and so??
