i wonder why this haven't been checked by more people when it was this good? i've finished reading the first season of the series and should say, you guys gotta check this out asap if you have not have the chance to do so. there are plenty of plot twist and it goes beyond the generic guessing game about what could happen at the next chapter

But you're forgetting how the boss initially approached iro was terrible, in fact Iro initially thought the boss was homophobic himself. Of course he's upset that boss for all intents and purposes who's straight and who he likely feels insecure about given their positions, their difference in maturity and experience, looks, etc is with someone like him out of nowhere. Given BL's erasure of bisexual characters the boss attraction will likely be explained as I'm attracted to you because it's you Mr. Iro which is some sort of pansexual if we want to be specific. However because the boss isn't actually attracted to men the way Iro is, if he wants to go back exclusively dating woman as was his truck record,. Iro doesn't have any assurance that eventually their relationship isn't just a phase or a passing whim because the boss is bored of his previous selection of partners. I personally don't like the virgin and playboy or playboy with a past plot for this reason among others. It's just frustrating because the author blantently ignores how unbalanced the relationship is where experience sometimes can be of great importance depending on how the character's maturity is written or the author will resolve the insecurity with more sex which ultimately doesn't address the issue at heart which is the character questioning their self worth within the relationship.
Normally those plot will make the virgin looks stupid and fool about love and will just forgive or forget about the past attitude of the seme. Thou some find it cool if the uke forgave the seme, it's just annoying how stupid the uke to forgive and forget without proper conversation. Normally the seme's way of reconciling would be tempting the uke through sex then will eventually let bygones be bygones
hmm don't expect someone would write reply this long but thanks mate. i personally don't take it that deep because this story core genre is comedy and not psychological, so maybe i don't mind about details? how would you approach your own subordinate--who's just rookie that basically join into your company--without putting any jealousy and suspicion from another workers? he couldn't make a move in the office because another worker would start gossiping that iro joins company thanks to him; let alone asking iro for personal contact. ofc iro would always questioning because he was basically a virgin, but doesn't the boss tried to take time to adjust? from my personal take, it's because they started the relationship from a misunderstanding and the story only be told from iro's perspective. that's why readers put into his shoes himself and not for the other characters. up until now, there's still no flashback arc from the boss' side and the fact that he just dated girls only being told on this chapter. and maybe this is me being curious but why you dislike playboy x virgin trope? i think as long as people don't cheat in their current rls, the past is no matter any else. that's why people have something named communication, to clear every misunderstanding and ease up any insecurity
besides their 10yrs+ age gap (so there's automatically the difference with lifestyle), what may become a problem is geonwoo isn't very outspoken as a person, so euijoon really can't tell what's happening inside his head and keep guessing;;;; i hope there won't be unnecessary drama thooo

Personally, I think you shouldn’t start from the beginning because the anime skips a lot of stuff, and the anime straight up skips Volume 8 and 9.
