Im like wow what a great manga… I look at the authors other works and see they wrote contradict… of course this is good, really amazing.
Art is literally god tier… but y did akamine rape him in the first place? Because he was drunk? Like akamine didn’t meet and work with saeki until 3 years after that rape.. so I literally am confused as to akamine oringal motive other then drunk…. Ok so I binged read this over the past two days.. I think what I personally did not like was the graphic rape scenes.. while it is part of the story it was hard to stomach as a reader, I think there might of been a better way to show this part of the story-
I’m not saying to remove it but visually it’s very graphic. It reminds me of the discourse around Berserk…
Anyway regardless of that I am not familiar with Egyptian mythology but this story has evolved quite nicely. So while I have criticisms I think it’s a good story none the less.
I am a Seth fan now, we love a complicated character ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Horus is even more intolerable, the Jesus guy tried to take over Egypt, the upside is Isis just wanted the best for her country, but horus beheaded her because she suggested that Seth join Ra on his sun boat. Osiris was sexually abusing Seth since like forever. Horus ATE Seth's only biological child, literally consumed her!!!

Art is gorgeous, but I don’t feel like they had any development.. we didn’t see anything like them getting along or enjoying each other’s company. It’s just implied that they like each other. I don’t really get it lol

And also didn‘t the friend (who planed the mixer) say that Shida broke up with his gf? Then was Shida in a relationship while being fuck buddies with Igarashi? Because the were fwb for a pretty long time, were they not? They met after 8 years and in the End Shida said he waited 15 years…

No, that was before Shida reconnected with the Igarashi. After they graduated, 8 years passed without them ever seeing or speaking to each other. Shida kept trying to reconnect but he never could. Shida dated ppl that looked like the Igarashi in those 8 years. After attending the mixer, he finally heard some news about Igarashi and thanks to that, they finally reunited. From there they remained F buddies for 4-ish years until MC couldn't take it and tried to block Shida from his life again.
