Finally theyre fighting, finally theyre letting out their emotions. Both of them kept stepping on each other's toes and kept bottling up their emotions. and its good that they fight this through and get rid of any bad blood + establish a good communication stradegy.
I cant hate the both of them, i know theyve fucked up here and there but its normal in relationships (especially for traumatised individuals like themselves). Theyve both been through way more than your average joe so they have different trauma responses and you should take them into account when reading this :,)
Maybe im taking this personally bcs i have the exact same childhood as kang seo an so i see my past self in him. I think ppl should take into account how sheltered Kang seo an's upbringing is. He had been brought up in such a harsh environment that this was what he was used to. Again im not justifying his actions, if anything im glad woowon stood his ground bcs Kang seo an really did cross the line by not even considering his opinion, but i also cant help but hate him yk. (wow who brought the yapper here)
"his head must have gone stupid after he got hit by a bottle" and other comments like such.. just plain mean to A VICTIM OF ABUSE. Its very common for abuse victims to not be able to let go of their abuser ESPECIALLY if they're a parent. He knows his dad is hurting him yet (they even explained this in the previous chapters btw :)))))) ) he still seems him as a dad bcs he IS his dad. It's easy for us to nitpick bcs we aren't woo won but it's different for someone who had seem both his dad's good and bad sides.
Idk maybe this hits a lot deeper as a victim of long term abuse cus i personally know the psychologicall effects that long term parental abuse has on people. And the manhwa does such an amazing job portraying it, the "I know i should hate him for what he had done to me but then again they are my parent" feeling is done so well.
Its common for victims to do irrational stuff when theyre in moments of stress bcs its a stress response like these r basic human empathy stuff. Just put yourself in their shoes for a second b4 you go off , thank yew for hearing me yap
LOUDEERRR
EXACTLY
Thank you m’lord. People clearly hold no empathy for situations like these, and culturally it’s different. In Asia this is not too uncommon and I’ve struggled with this financial abuse and mental.
Listened to your entire ted talk on parental abuse; thanks thanks thanks
