I kinda feel that its implied that guwon is"Sisyphus" and his way of handling of the town is him in a neverending cycle of pushing the rock, and some of yall are sketchy as hell abt him, but I feel like the town and the people themselves are horrible as they lie just to get in. thus, taking advantage of guwon too.

yes! jaewon's twin died and seo-in was adopted to replace him. in the 1st season, we see seo-in visit a cemetery with jaewon's name written on headstone. it is also further implied in the next scene when he has dinner with his adopted family and they ostracise him.
