I never can understand why some people think it's their duty to translate whether they are capable or not. It's just mind-boggling.
Dare I say, the posh British translation of this manhwa is an exceptional delight. Never in my life did I expect such scholarly, upper-class tone, the type reserved for highly-acclaimed British period dramas in a mere webtoon.
But truth-be-told, the tone perfectly suits this period drama gem, and I think anything less wouldn't have done it such deserved justice. Always a joy to read.
So, Haewoon stating that their relationships only got shattered in the last 2 days shows the extent of his delusion.
For someone that has suffered for months in the hands of those 2 sadistic devils to be thinking there's even a relationship speaks of his distorted mental state.
There is no reason why he came to the villa with these fools and his slow realisation that there's no friendship in the first place is the reason why he's suffered for so long in their hands. Hopefully, now that he's made that realisation, he can pick up the courage to save himself from them.
I love love this story despite so much hate. While cheating is abhorrent, it can happen to anyone. I therefore love this story as it is a true representation of cheating.
Now, one thing I love that the author did so well is to separate "playing" from "cheating". A player cheats out of habit and is blase about it, while acheater feels conflicted because they know it's wrong.
Most cases of cheating usually happens by chance, not because the cheater wanted it as in this story. Most cheaters want to stop but they are powerless and continue because it is a force of nature that even best efforts can't save them from.
It is therefore a shame that the readers don't get this and are instead dishing out so much hate towards a very well-thought out plot.
Been waiting for this one, full smut of course. But, let me guess, Manta grabs it first and makes a kiddie version. We shall see.
This truly is one of the absolute best stories out there. Great art, awesome characters, and I mean ALL of them including Hwan! (lol)
I love love the pace of the story, chemistry between the characters, the romance and even the extended era hops.
It's a wholesome story that has kept me hooked for 4 years! Not even the lengthy and frequent hiatuses or the stingy 3 episodes a month can faze me. I just wait patiently for the next episode and pounce whenever it drops. Great, unique story. My hats off to both the author and artist, and I shall be waiting patiently for the return of Season 4.
Ngl, it tugs at the heart to see Jaekyung suffering....Yes, he's toxic, yes, he deserves pain and worse, but... he's getting hit from 2 ends - his aching heart from an emotion he's never experienced before and does not understand AND the online trash talking.
But I'm sure the more painful is the budding affection he has developed for Dan and his cluelessness about how to deal with. That's frustrating him and driving him crazy. Damn! To think such a little thing is taking down such a giant - humbling.
Seriously Kenny, STOP carrying Lou, he's not a baby!! OK, I adore this couple but damn!, I am struggling to watch Kenny continue to carry a grown man everywhere like he's a 5 year old. Quite cringey tbh. [sweat grin]. Otherwise, totally love the story, art, ALL the characters (a first for me as I HATE second couples without exception!)

The "kid" does NOT ask to be carried and does not need to be carried in order to be comforted. You can carry babies around but not a grown adult with legs.

I get slow burn but this story is just plain boring. Fullstop As for the plot, it's meh. Seen better. I've stuck with slow burns before, and thought I could do with this one. The worst part for me is the lack of chemistry between the ML and MC. There's just nothing there. Zilch. Nada. I don't root for them to be together, and I don't care for them either. Having stuck with it from the start, this is where I part ways as I just can't bear the boredom any longer. Great art tho, but I can find just as good in other manhwas.

ngl maybe just maybe the main couple might not actually not end up together thats why the story is like that its not like that hasnt happened before in a story romance isnt even in the genres too so that makes sense but the plot is actually rlly interesting just to see how yoohan is going to get his revenge and seeing how is acting is getting better is rlly intriguing but it seems like ur only here for the bl not even for the actual plot which is a huge L but ur british anyways so thats excusable
