Just caught up on this season's chapters and ngl, I'm impressed with the turn of events at the end that I totally did not expect. Things had started to feel, shall I say, predictable which can be boring, so, if this new arc will extend the story much further with a LOT of angst and emotional rollercoaster, then, I'm staying put.

I just found this gem and could not put it down, now, I wish I had left it alone until it ended!! I absolutely love the plot - totally unique and manages to stylishly deviate from cliche stokholm syndrome plots. I love all 3 main characters and their dynamics. Never have I seen 2 very strong, equally toxic MLs in a love triangle before and so well executed. For now though, I'm gonna stay away until the series ends!!
I think what's really impressive is that the black haired ml is genuinely creepy and terrifying, the way he asserts his dominance is so messed up and realistic that i got real chills at the start of the story.

I love an author that can throw a curveball just when their readers have "decided" based on their past work that they are predictable. By suddenly swinging their next work the completely opposite direction to their previous, their readers are left confused, disoriented and disgruntled!! I personally love this unapologetic work and have great resepect for the author..

This hiatus special is proof that all 4 characters are main characters in this story. I love them all and I'm always so impressed at how the author portrays them equally so that none feel like side characters (I find side characters abhorrent and I always skip thier parts in any story).
I cannot understand how this story is rated 8.8 because it is totally a 10/10 in my opinion. The plot, the characters, their dynamics, their development, the art are all flawless and perfectly executed. All I can say is that there are lots of people reading it who are not the target audience and I honestly wish they'll go read something else they prefer.
Yes, the BDSM realism is weak, but how many manhwas have successfully portrayed BDSM realistically? Yeah, 1 or 2, because it's so bloody hard to adapt into a comic alongside a primary plot. So, personally, I'm satisfied with the BDSM in this story and I don't feel I'm missing out on it.
The focus of the story is on Han and Lee and the drama surrounding their lives from multiple influences. We haven't even learnt anything about Han's past that clearly has a huge impact on his present. So, the BDSM really is only a small part of this story and it's unfair to judge the story based on its "unrealistic" depiction of BDSM.
In conclusion, I truly love this story and can't wait to read another 50 chapters in Season 2!!
