I thought the Seme had a story to reveal about his past/background to the uke and was going to spill the beans about their first encounter on the set of ‘Cigarette Ash’ and that is when the seme began to take notice of the uke and developed his feelings from that moment. But nothing like that occurred.
The seme’s family was brought up by the CEO of his acting company when he mentioned his uncle was trying to influence his downfall in status there so, I thought they would make an appearance or be mentioned further. Anyway, I like that this story stayed focused on the main two and did not waste time on rivals or side couples.

I loved the anime 1st season and I love the manga even more! There are quite a few differences between the two, but the manga is better. I love Dolan x Selena together so much! My heart goes out to Selena for being the strong GF who gives her BF what he needs even if it hurts her. I would have been devastated if she had died on Sky Island she is such a great character and I am invested in the life the MCs are actively building together. They are such a supportive couple always boosting one another and the people around them. They are that one couple all the other friends look up to as an example of “what to look for in a relationship”. I can't wait for the update!
