I needed to take a couple deep breaths, because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, LOUIE!!! Up until now I thought that he was one of the rare ones who had a few braincells to spare, but dear god, chapter 22 was spectacularly bad. Like, holy hell, Louie outdid everyone in the brainless department.

This. This is what I absolutely hate in the "weak and kind" type of characters. Like, sure being kind is good, but not this absolute bullshit!!! I abhor it, when a "kind" type of character gets hurt and abused by evil on two legs, a person who has no redeeming qualities (beyond a sob story that doesn't add or take away from how evil they are), and instead of being rightfully angry and punishing that person, they decide to forgive, or worse, help them.

Kind does not equal being fucking brainlessly, selfsacrificially, endlessly forgiving!!!! It's so rare to see kind characters being done right, where they do stand up against their abusers, and refuse to forgive.

Instead we get this shitshow.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!! It wouldn't be enough to completely skip the fact that Azlak 100% earned a horrible death after he abused Louie, nearly raped him, murdered a wolf Louie cared about, and started a war in such a way that it's a miracle that Louie wasn't hanged and quartered right away, OH NO!!!

We also need to drag Marja into it!! It wasn't enough for Louie, that he would forcefully break a deal that is meant to stop the war (a.k.a. indirectly contribute to murder and suffering for even more people!!), he also had to whine and moan until Marja felt like he has no other way to stop Louie from doing what is essentially suicide, but to sacrafice himself!

AND FUCKING LOUIE WAS COMPLETELY ALRIGHT WITH IT!!! Like, BRO. Wtf is wrong with you?? You would honestly exchange shithead Azlak, your rapist, abuser, murderer, starter of senseless wars, for the poor Marja who did nothing, but loyally follow you and serve you, even though it made him a hostage in a hostile land too?? Poor Marja only did his best for Louie, he was loyal and sincere, and THIS is the thanks he gets??? "I would die for your happiness", "kk, thanks bro, c ya never"???? Louie didn't even fucking hesitate!!

It feels like the author gathered all the worst clichés, amplified them to a 100, and then released that sewage under the name "Ookami no Hanayome", just to do a social experiment and see how many death threats he/she can get for one manga. I bet, the author cackled every time they released a new chapter to burn the brains of the readers.

This braid guy is such a little bitch, it's annoying. I'm 90% sure he is jealous that Al has a sub, and the remaining 10% is just him being a natural asshole with no real motivation. But probably it's a combination of both.
He cannot seriously be concerned about Al's free time, wellbeing and workload (even if he complains that extra work will fall on him in case something happens to Al), when it's common sense that doms need a partner to do plays with, and I doubt that the bitch doesn't know that Al didn't exactly have one in a while. So Zen is basically the key to his health, both mental and physical. The bitch *has* to know it. If anything, he will have extra work if Al continues to not have a partner and falls apart.
Not to mention, that his casual cruelty towards Zen the first time they met doesn't speak well of his personality, and this time too, he didn't hesitate to deliberately throw around words, that he knows, have harmed Zen the last time, as evidenced by his surprise over Zen not reacting this time. He knows exactly what he is doing, and feels zero guilt. It also looks like he is about to cause Zen to sub drop, and I bet he won't be apologetic about that.

Anyway, the bitch clearly knows, that he will cause great harm to Al if he manages to separate them, it's such common sense in their world that it's almost undoubtedly his goal (unless he wants to pair up Al with some other sub or whatever contrived reason). Yet at the same time he does not aproach Al, and attacks him through a vulnerable person. Which makes me think that the bitch is afraid of Al, since he could intimidate even doms easily. These two facts make me think that he is actually jealous of Al - jealous that Al is so much stronger than him. Or perhaps he also thinks that Al is "defective" and doesn't deserve to have a sub. Either way, a pathetic bitch.

Yeah, still hate that sick fuck. What happened to him was tragic, and he gets bonus points for trying to poison that lil bitch, but none of this excuses his hatred and abuse towards Louie, nor his his murder of the wolf. Especially not how he started an entire war with hundreds (probably thousands) of victims, both the soldiers and the ones who stayed home, just to give his dad a middle finger.

That was his whole motivation, a giant middle finger, so his dad couldn't trade (not particularly important) and so it would be someone else other than his dad who kills him (also totally not important). For this, he caused death and suffering for countless people. Truly a stellar behaviour.

Istg, this is a neverending whump. I started reading this years ago, and dropped because it was just torture porn. Now I checked the last few chapters and read some spoilers, and guess what, it's still Penelope being so miserable, she wants to die.
I worry for people who write things like this, and for those who read and enjoy it.
