Childhood friends. The boy who got saved were doesn’t remember because his memory was wiped. The story starts with them meeting years after and what happened in the past is revealed in the end because the supernatural person is slowly dying but their condition is related to MC so they rather just fade away than take back what they have to MC. Someone else (like a guardian who I think was the one who wiped MC’s memories in the first place) gives MC back his memories in hopes that knowing the truth MC will give up his life to save them. He’s right, they both want to sacrifice themselves to save the other person and I don’t remember how but it’s a happy ending.

Works like ”Karasugaoka don’t be shy!!” Where one of them has a secret crush where they act indifferent when they interact with them and crash out afterwards in a ”we talked for 5 whole seconds” way. Also okay if they both have secret crushes on each other. No angst/heartbreak, just wholesomeness. Preferably Shounen Ai but okay with Yaoi as long as it’s adorable and not sm*t focused.

I have the vaguest memory of this webtoon (bl) with two agents/assassins who I think are trying to k each other but also kinda play mind games and eventually end up together. I’m pretty sure the cover was black and pink, maybe vibrant pink. One of the main characters has black hair (not sure that helps) and the other might have had pink hair. It was really good in the beginning to middle but the plot and character were turned into fan-service in the end.

I’m really into this very specific troupe that’s somehow more occurring than you’d think: ”MC wakes up as someone else and hides their identity yet ML recognize them” troupe. No transmigration into novels/games/worlds or the past to ”make things right”. No past lovers.
