I wanna know if the MC ends up with the kind brother. I know there’s a chance he might be twisted too, but I honestly don’t like the relationship between the main(?) characters at all. I feel like every chapters just a dose of sexual violence that I’m skimming through because I’m a bit hooked on the plot and I’m hoping for a happy ending.

I don’t remember if this has a novel or if the untranslated version is futures ahead but does anyone know if it’s a good time to te-read this now? Or should I wait a few more chapters?

Okej, thank you. I just re-read it and although I’d forgotten why I didn’t let it go earlier, reading it again made me realize why. It add it clearer how the stories were as connected, even from the vey beginning. Also can’t believe Lorkan was even worse before then now. This manipulating nasty clown smh.

[SPOILERS]
Loved the story. Interesting plot, good characters, rare to see ”time traveling” done this coherent and the story really lives up the the psychological tag. The ending wad, for me, very underwhelming. Reading the story, there was always a feeling if uneasiness and the ending have no closure (except for the apology I guess). Jihoo still deisppeaed from the MCs life, also with the guy who could’ve killed him in the future for all we know. There was a moment at the end where the MC realized his friend had always been there for him and acknowledged his support, in both timelines. What I don’t under and is how their adult life played out pretty much the same, them living separate lives and Seungtae still beating his son due to internalized homophobia. Am I the only one who thinks the MC was able to feel acceptens towards himself towards the end and that it then want against his character to still beat his son up, especially since he shows big regret and sorrow for doing it. Or maybe he altered the ending in another universe/s and just not this one? He knew his reason for wanting to save Jihoo was selfish and he accepted that saving Jihoo for Jihoo’s sake was good enough?

I’d like to think about it as an alternate timeline. He beat up his son because he still hasn’t accepted That he’s a gay man This is the OG timeline where Jihoo died. Overall, the Happier timeline is very open ended. It’s a pretty interesting way to end the story to be honest I think it falls into line with the world building and making an alternate timeline Makes more sense I think still sad though

Was dumb enough to start reading this, not understanding it had plenty of SA and graphic gr*pr. I understand it’s kind of what the plot depends on and that is a crucial part of how the main character was built, but I think the scenes are way more explicit and longer then necessary. The scenes are like montages that are way to long and there’s always like 34 different angles that shows how the MC is exposed/portrayed. I understand the offers are romanticizing the situation, but the way it’s presented to the reader with him all ”dolled up” is far to graphic to get the point actress in my opinon. I’m open to what other people think, especially if you don’t agree with me.
So… MC becomes physically ill because his body and mind hasn’t accepted ML and the only reason ML is holding back is because he wants to be able to use MC for as long as possible. He’s not doing it for MC ti be kind as he literally forced himself on him at the very start and shows no regrets as he keep enjoying their non consensual guiding. To me, this just feels like another example of normalized r*pe. The fact that this is a esper/guide verse is not strong enough to carry the lack of plot. Can’t believe the highly rating.
exactly this!!!! it's practically rape from the start
