Praying this doesn’t take a dark(er?) turn with torture and more scary stuff. The expressions are marking me scared, they’re just so much more expressive??? Plz I’m too weak for this.

So… with both statements being true doesn’t that mean he was there and when he got out he was no longer alive (if he wasn’t alive before that is). I feel like he would be able to dodge the knife and didn’t either for foreshadowing or just because he didn’t have to cuz it didn’t do any damage, he even pulled the knife out without breaking a sweat. It still might be that he just heals faster because he’s an esper and that he’s become null from pain.

I'm pretty sure the "bounty" is one of his people the way he played it

    Jujutsu Kaikyuu October 16, 2024 8:40 am

To clear things a bit, here are my thoughts:

About the dungeon thing, I think he’s there as a civillian at first since they also said that no esper escaped alive but this could be a stretch but with this little information we have, I think this is the most probable. Second, the reason why he let himself get stabbed is because, if you read the chapters, they are the ones being hunted with a 10 billion won bounty on their heads. As you can see, the one who stabbed him is clearly one of the s class esper of their guild, ain’t no way we’re gonna introduce a twin or a doppelgänger now aren’t we? He let himself get stabbed to, not remove suspicion from them, but to have an alibi if ever the suspicion targeted towards their guild grows since who would have the nerve to contradict when what was witnessed since they would be like ‘hey I got stabbed by an s class esper, me who’s a c class, there’s no way we’re conspiring something together’.

Additionally, if you haven’t noticed it yet, the seme is so ‘meh’ since he’s a manipulative shit. Just like how he manipulated this ‘incident’, he also manipulated the uke to stay, or at least manipulated the situation involving guides so that no matter what happens, either is a win for him. The first possible outcome being the uke quits but hey at least he won’t be in danger since it’s apparent that the ml ‘kinda’ cares for him, Second is if he makes the poor uke jealous, he will stay so there we go the most compatible guide he ever met in his life right by his side just when he needed him the most, how convenient! .......

Black hair has been forceful from the start and shows no remorse for forcing himself on MC, it just feels like he is apologizing because he doesn’t want MC to avoid him. It’s giving ”I’ll show you what I’m capable of so you be greatfull I’m holding back” and now MC is letting it pass because he has a tragic backstory and he feels sorry for him. Blond hair has apologized and owned up to his actions but it feels like he acts/has acted out when black hair has done something bad to MC. Like he feels it unfair that black hair can take what he wants and therefore justifying doing something less but similar. White hair is not forceful, playing any mind games, or pushing his feeling onto MC without caring about MC’s feelings and response. Of course that doesn’t mean MC is obligated to choose him, but it’s definitely a better start than the others! I feel like MC is somewhat interested in black hair and his whole character/story, that he’s affected by blond hair’s clearly expressed romantic feelings. Although I am team white hair it has strayed to feel like MC is becoming more of the character in the otome game and less him, like he’s blushing at everything and catching romantic feelings way easier then at the beginning.

So… MC becomes physically ill because his body and mind hasn’t accepted ML and the only reason ML is holding back is because he wants to be able to use MC for as long as possible. He’s not doing it for MC ti be kind as he literally forced himself on him at the very start and shows no regrets as he keep enjoying their non consensual guiding. To me, this just feels like another example of normalized r*pe. The fact that this is a esper/guide verse is not strong enough to carry the lack of plot. Can’t believe the highly rating.

exactly this!!!! it's practically rape from the start

PurplePillow October 2, 2024 9:45 pm

I wanna know if the MC ends up with the kind brother. I know there’s a chance he might be twisted too, but I honestly don’t like the relationship between the main(?) characters at all. I feel like every chapters just a dose of sexual violence that I’m skimming through because I’m a bit hooked on the plot and I’m hoping for a happy ending.

    Shirousagi October 3, 2024 8:31 am

I don't think he will bc he would kill him if they ever had sex and I don't think Mc would wanna limit 2nd ml like that

I don’t remember if this has a novel or if the untranslated version is futures ahead but does anyone know if it’s a good time to te-read this now? Or should I wait a few more chapters?

    Ooo September 29, 2024 11:47 pm

from what I know, there is only one more raw chapter that concludes s2 so maybe just wait until 107 is translated and uploaded before rereading! And then it will probably be a few months until it continues with s3 :)

Okej, thank you. I just re-read it and although I’d forgotten why I didn’t let it go earlier, reading it again made me realize why. It add it clearer how the stories were as connected, even from the vey beginning. Also can’t believe Lorkan was even worse before then now. This manipulating nasty clown smh.

[SPOILERS]

Loved the story. Interesting plot, good characters, rare to see ”time traveling” done this coherent and the story really lives up the the psychological tag. The ending wad, for me, very underwhelming. Reading the story, there was always a feeling if uneasiness and the ending have no closure (except for the apology I guess). Jihoo still deisppeaed from the MCs life, also with the guy who could’ve killed him in the future for all we know. There was a moment at the end where the MC realized his friend had always been there for him and acknowledged his support, in both timelines. What I don’t under and is how their adult life played out pretty much the same, them living separate lives and Seungtae still beating his son due to internalized homophobia. Am I the only one who thinks the MC was able to feel acceptens towards himself towards the end and that it then want against his character to still beat his son up, especially since he shows big regret and sorrow for doing it. Or maybe he altered the ending in another universe/s and just not this one? He knew his reason for wanting to save Jihoo was selfish and he accepted that saving Jihoo for Jihoo’s sake was good enough?

    PurplePillow September 26, 2024 1:57 am

It’s 4am and a lot of spelling mistakes, but I think it gets the point across

    Beanz October 7, 2024 6:47 am

I’d like to think about it as an alternate timeline. He beat up his son because he still hasn’t accepted That he’s a gay man This is the OG timeline where Jihoo died. Overall, the Happier timeline is very open ended. It’s a pretty interesting way to end the story to be honest I think it falls into line with the world building and making an alternate timeline Makes more sense I think still sad though

Was dumb enough to start reading this, not understanding it had plenty of SA and graphic gr*pr. I understand it’s kind of what the plot depends on and that is a crucial part of how the main character was built, but I think the scenes are way more explicit and longer then necessary. The scenes are like montages that are way to long and there’s always like 34 different angles that shows how the MC is exposed/portrayed. I understand the offers are romanticizing the situation, but the way it’s presented to the reader with him all ”dolled up” is far to graphic to get the point actress in my opinon. I’m open to what other people think, especially if you don’t agree with me.

    PurplePillow September 26, 2024 12:26 am

    *offender not the offer
(Read until the latest chapter to get some kind of closure to find out it wasn’t even finished, now I’m just traumatized)
