Well that was wild. I’m kind glad they are taking the psychotic thing seriously and not just ”whoops he was a bit crazy/obsessed” and that we got to see things from his perspective too and understand where he was coming from. At the beginning I don’t think their relationship was toxic, maybe not completely healthy either though. There was mutual feelings of liking and Jiwhan did act out of his understanding of the love he was shown and what he is capable of feeling. He wanted to do better than this father wanted to be relied on and provide everything you could wish for, sadly he did isolate and seclude Sooyoung like his father did to his mother. I don’t believe it could’ve been solved with communication, but I think if they had been able to communicate more openly (about Jiwhans intension and obsession and how it had the opposite effect) maybe there could’ve been a deeper level of understanding. The part where Sooyoung broke it off was absolutely necessary but as they never saw eye to eye it became more of a “you’re totally crazy and I don’t understand why you can’t understand I hate you and not want to be with you every again” and thinking their whole relationship was an act/a lie was quite harsh and it did end with Jiwhan threatening to k himself so I’m not sure how their relationship will develop in the future. Sooyoung has no bit of like left for him and he’s traumatized and scared of him. I feel that if Jiwhan changes to a completely different person saying he regrets everything and wants to support him from afar or even be taken back it, the whole psychopath thing will be reduced to nothing which would be a waste since it has potential to be actually good showcaseing. The same if he just turn into some “crazy stalker”. I like the characters and that they’re not bound to each other just because they’re the main couple (like when Sooyoung actually stood up for himself and didn’t give in because he felt guilty which happens in most stories after the other person has done something that’s gone to far). I do think they’ll end up together in the end so I hope they can learn how to be good for each other. I just feel bad for both of them tbh.

As someone who binge read this until 6am and didn’t pay much attention to the change in artstyle I really don’t feel it changed the story to the worse if it did at all. I did notice the characters felt a bit different personality wise in the last few chapters but I think it makes sense as everything is settling down. I was a bit thrown of by the start of chapter 1 but kept reading due to the high rating and the story delivered. Worth reading imo. The ”right hand man” was really stressing which was pretty funny and nice since there were some dark elements, especially in the end. Almost threw up in my mouth when the disgusting ass creep clown stepfather said he wanted to mark him. I really wonder how the MC’s parents got together in the first place. I understand they worked together and stepfather held the son (ML) over the father’s head but I assume they somehow got together before he was born but the pregnancy could’ve also been non consensual. One thing that was a bit weird was how there was a chapter warning for child ab*se but not attempted r*pe.
I am so so thankful ML didn’t like the fragile vibe of MC the system was forcing on him and didn’t lose focus on the important event that is saving the world. I’ve seen far too many genuinely good stories with interesting and likable characters that have been reduced to fan service or just pure smut. I really like this one and I look forward to every new chapter so big thanks to the uploader too!

honestly it somehow broke me that he died, but here’s the thing. If u recall the past chapters of how he had killed Kid’s human body. And he found freedom from Kid, my theory here is that Kid likes Soho now to the point he manipulated and helped him, so that he can get into his database, spread the “virus” or malignancy to robots to like yk end human controllers of robots.
My other theory is simply because he wanted to have revenge on Daniel for killing him before and wants him to suffer the same way he is. Idkkk but that’s how I perceived it.
