dude… she was what… 15 at the start of the story… maybe 16 at best… that’s a child… she WAS slow too even for her age but in the end she was influenced and used because of her naivety by the grownups in the story. and her peers blackmailed her. how any of this is her fault if ultimately she was an oblivious kid that never had friends and couldn’t know better because of the lack of experience with people?

Do you even know what the age of consent is in Japan? Its 16.!!! She's a middle school graduate that means she's over 16. So all the sexual intercourse were consensual. Plus a child is a person aged 10-13. From age 14- 17 people are called young person. But the age of marriage is 18. .. in which way is she still a 'child'?? She's a minor yes but not a child. And not even a child is as dumb as her.. she's not slow, she's delusional and wants validation through attention. age of consent does not equal to being mentally mature enough for the intercourse for the starters, and in this case it clearly shows. you yourself said that she is stupid. more stupid than a child. she was obviously not mentally mature for all that. and by definition, the age of consent is the age at which one can legally consent to intercourses. not the one at which one is at fault if abused. and it doesn’t really matter. people don’t reach full mental maturity till approximately 25. till then every mild experience shapes the mind (so yeah surprise surprise environment makes it quite possible for an influenced developing person to stoop low enough if conditioned for prolonged times extensively like with drugs which coincidentally mess up the brain chemistry(⌒▽⌒)). and in teens it’s even more the same, especially with puberty messing up with the hormones, mood, irritability and other stuff. she was a young person, sure, but obviously not a developed or even experienced enough to be at fault for being used by adults. that’s pretty much grooming of a lonely naive young person who doesn’t know how healthy intrapersonal relationships work.
next, “nobody blackmailed her in the beginning of the story”. oho, yes, that happened later on, but in the begging though that first dude sugarcoated her into having sex with him convincing her it was okay because he loved her which was obviously just a lie? and that was after he fed her some drug that got her high? that counts as rape under substances. her fault for accepting that pill at all, sure, but you can’t be serious if you say that’s ultimately her fault in this case. she was then further conditioned into thinking all that was okay because of her lack of substantial experience with dating and people overall and was pretty much groomed into addiction (high sex is the term they used in the manga) and even selling herself for drugs/money by the perpetrator. and she was raped again by that old guy then? and blackmailed because of that then? like what are you even on… obviously all that shit would grow into some sort of miserable stuff…

She was on full term pregnancy the 2nd time so at least 7 months have passed. you think all these happened in one day? Are you dumb like her? She was at least 18 by the end of the story, okay let's say she was 16 but that doesn't change the fact that she brought the misfortune onto herself?..she wanted to CHANGE, get it? Change herself and for that she explored different options. She's not naive but delusional and dumb .. there's a fine line between these words, and i don't think you get that.. even if she was naive or dumb that still doesn't excuse the fact that she was sleeping around selling herself for money to weird old men. but you are trying to make an issue twisting my words.. you are making it sound like i said its okay what the dudes in this story did with her or something ... Then come to the part where she kissed a guy who she met for the first time in her life? Would you do that? Kiss a random guy who's nice to you at your first meeting? The story clearly shows that when some dudes were blackmailing her for selling herself to old dudes she refused sex.. that alone proves that she has the conscious and she knows what's wrong and right.. selling herself to old dudes was fully on her and in more than once she says she enjoyed it.. she wasn't even drug induced so how are you planning to defend that?.. choose your words carefully cuz you said "conditioned into thinking" but who was manipulating her when she wanted to change herself and buy extremely expensive stuffs by selling herself? Then who told her to have sex and take drugs while she was pregnant?
