I love the translators little notes about the story and the background for certain things from time to time cause it makes me feel so informed about what’s going on and like I’m able to understand the story a lot more deeply.
I just love the fact that even Claudia is able to recognize the fact that it’s not mainly her fault that fermina is the way she is because of her, but it’s their fathers fault. Especially when the story shows you where she got her thinking from. Her father puts Fermina on a pedestal when he’s with her making her think that she’s unique and should be the only one getting that treatment. While being in and out of her life, so it’s pretty obvious why she would end up the way she did.
