It’s boring
The Guide to Capturing a Black Lotus
Bruh, I read the comments on the this novel and they were all like ong this novel is so good, I love it so much, omg this writing is so good but it was fucking trash, this manhua follows the exact same plot as the novel and its fuckig trash. First of all, the fucking story makes no sense. Second of all, the relationships makes no sense. Third of all, there’s so many plot holes. Fourth of all, they literally make no sense. There’s no dynamics, no in depth scenarios, scenes, events, and character personality, no nothing. Plus even the ending was ass. It left with the male lead dying and that’s it. I didn’t read the side stories but this story was sooooo disappointing. I actually watched the drama first and the drama was soo good I thought this novel would as well but nope. They wrote the drama out reallll well. They basically rewrote everything but still contained elements of the novel which THANK GOD they did cuz this story was just horrible. Everything flows in the drama and shit makes sense. I love how they tweak the characters a little bit to not make them so bland and dumb. Like they changed the relationship btw the fl and the fl protagonist from something that doesn’t exist to a sister like relationship, which would totally make sense. Cuz in the novel, fl doesn’t attempt to strengthen her relationship with female protagonist which is like gurl is gonna be traveling with her 24/7. Why is that they don’t have any fucking interactions which I mean I understand too that she’s tryna steal her man but at least make it more realistic. In the drama (the ig timeline) fl butters up to female protagonist and backstabs her which makes sense so why can’t fl in novel do the same. Like I said, it doesn’t make sense that she’s literally traveling with her 24/7 and she doesn’t even try to have a good relationship with her or even interact with her. I also liked how they added fl’s backstory in the drama which was not included in the novel. In the drama they included how her life was before her transmigration and how her relationship with her dad was, and integrated that into the story, adding more depth to fl’s relationships in the game she transmigrates to, bc the father in the game is the exact same as her father in real life creating such a wholesome, well thought out scene. I just really loved the drama overall with their relationships. I definitely felt the chemistry in the drama vs the novel. Ml is likeable in the drama vs the novel. In the novel, ml does a bunch of shit where I’m like girl why tf aren’t you mad, why tf are you still willing to be alone with him, why tf are you still talking to him cuz me, personally, I wouldn not let that shit slide. Shit made me so mad, but in the drama, ml does less extreme things that, that bitch does in the novel, so I’m not complaining, everything he does makes sense whereas in the novel, it does not make sense at all. I honestly found it really cringe how fl is acting but I mean that’s just how historical fl act, but then I also found it really funny bc of how they’re acting like that. At times I found it cringe, other times it was hilarious. Most of the time it was hilarious, thank god or else I would not be watching that.
Another thing to add, it was fucking dumb in the novel how fl was like, I wanna join you guys on your guys hunt when she literally does not have any power to defend herself unlike the other three, and the most oh so “intelligent” caring person is like, yea you can come join us. BUTHC TF U MEAN. Do not label bro intelligent, any intelligent and compassionate person would try to talk that dumb bitch out of it cuz she would just be dragging them down and they would have more problems to worry about bc she’s a higher up’s daughter and can’t risk letting her be in danger and she’d get in the way. In the drama, she actually loses her position of a noble lady bc she tells her father to step down which her father is willing to do everything she says cuz shes his one and only family member left which is why he is so doting on her, and there’s more scenes that lead up to the event that makes them allow her to join on the hunt. Like it makes sense unlike in the novel.
The Abandoned Saintess' Vow: To Deny the Prince's Love in Her Next Life
I Thought I Tamed the Villain
First of all the art is immaculate buttt idk how to feel about the storyline. I kind of liked it at first or the trope at least. Mc did kind of annoy me with her everyone should be friends but the relationship btw ml and mc was really cute. Ml was such a cutie. I skipped chapters here and there cuz I was kind of bored of reading how they grow up and stuff but I didn’t really like how the story progressed after they grew up and how it ended. I was imagining a whole different ending and it’s also like what happened to the demon then. Poor him, ain’t no way he vanished just like that. Everything happened so suddenly unlike in the beginning when they were kids. Cuz in the beginning they were progressing so slowly I got kind of bored. And then new at the end the story progressed so quickly there’s plot holes. It was just so much to take in a short moment and it was like why did it even lead to this anyways. It just felt underdeveloped to me so I wish it could’ve been better, something could’ve been different. I need justice for luciel.
Even Though I Transmigrated as a Villainess, I’d Rather Raise a Cat
It’s boring. The art is really pretty tho.
