I hate rezef so so much but my heart also aches for him badly. Like every time I see him, I feel anger and frustration to the point of tears because he couldve grown up differently. He couldve been a sweet brother who dotes on Cayena. He couldve been the complete opposite of what he is now if only he wasnt surrounded by shitass adults. HE WAS A CHILD FFS. WHY HATE THE CHILD FOR SOMETHING HE DIDNT DO.
I still dont forgive rezef for what he had done and never will. He deserves every pain, every suffering, and every punishment. I wish the worst for him. But at the same time, I wish there's some alternate universe where everything was different and he grew up well loved and supported together with Cayena. Fate owes him at least that much after giving him such shitty life.

theres supposed to be another chapter before this one where gil and evelyn were both fighting/ convincing the prince's uncle (im bad with names sorry) to give them the goblet and not to the other and in the end it was revealed that it wasnt poisoned in the first place (the uncle drank it to prove it)

OOHHHH does the paper charm transfers curses to whoever's name is written on it? Im assuming Nana's paper says "Channel all woes to Ebisumori Mutsu" same as the paper charm found in her mother's hand when she died. Mutsu means six so it's def referring to her mom (the sixth priestess). Sooo when that curse/monster from Mirai's room grab hold of Nana, it was supposed to have killed her but it didn't because it "skipped" her and went straight to Mutsu.
Now Mutsu couldve avoided death if her paper charm says Itsutsu (five) but I'm assuming Nana's grandmother is dead and that's why her mother's paper says Mutsu bc there's no other Ebisumori priestess she could pass it on.
That means when Nana gave Kaya her paper charm with her name on it, she was ready to take on any curse in Kaya's place so that she'll remain safe TT
